Photo of the Week
Welcome to our Photo of the Week page! We may spend many hours looking for tracks, waiting for returning turtles or monitoring nests, but there is no doubt that we are lucky enough to be doing that on some of the planet's most beautiful beaches. We often receive fabulous photos taken by the volunteers and we will be showcasing them on this page each week.
Since we're almost at the end of the season now would be a good time for a lovely reminder of why we do this. I hope you enjoy the photos below sent in by some of our volunteers.

An interesting insight into the amazing diversity of life - even inside a single turtle egg. These failed eggs in a Shelly Beach nest had been invaded by a bright pink species of fungus belonging to the Fusarium genus.
